Salman Khan’s Early Life and Education

Salman Khan was born on 1 December 1965 in Mumbai to father Sarvekar and mother Rehana. He was the youngest of three brothers. At the age of six, he began attending the Dr. J.S. Rajawadi School in Mumbai. He would later also attend the Don M. Warde Public School, as well as the SNDT Womens’ Polytechnic College. He completed his education in economics from the University of Mumbai. When was he was a child, he used to be a part of his father’s acting and dancing classes. He also used to act in school plays and even made appearances in small movies. After completing his education, he took up a course in chartered accountancy. But he decided to quit that course after three months as he wanted to become a full-time actor.

After he was done with his education, Salman started his acting career with the film ‘Mujjaffar’ (1983). In the same year, he also made his debut in the movie ‘Ek Aur Raja’. From then on, he appeared in many movies, including ‘Biwi Aur Ghoul’, ‘Darr’, ‘Kamal’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and many more. One such instance was in 2014 when he was accused of torturing a man who trespassed in his house. And in 2018, two girls accused him of molestation.
